With only two periods of orchestra in a day, there still seems to be a lot of work to do. Unfortunately, we still haven't played any music. The basics are important to reinforce and we've reviewed setting up playing position bow hold. Preparations for the elementary recruitment, open house, instrumental open house, field trips, building release forms, scheduling concerts, roster finalizations, and much more. I'm amazed at how many details have to be worked out in order for the year to go smoothly.
